Our Vision

We are ACT Education!

At ACT our primary vision is to improve the knowledge, skills and behaviours of individuals, whether they are new to their sector or are upskilling themselves in their career development to support their organisations.

We have fully qualified staff ready to identify your starting point, develop an individual learning plan, which meets your needs and those of your employers and prepare you to complete your apprenticeship standard through the successful achievement of your End Point Assessment (EPA).

We pride ourselves on the fact that we offer the right level of apprenticeship to suit the needs of each learner, in order to give them the correct knowledge, skills and behaviours to be successful now, however, that’s not where the journey ends as we continue to work with our learners as they progress through their career development.

Our apprenticeships are co-funded through the Department of Education, with the employers contributing 5% of the total cost.

Tutor Testimonials

Although not new to the role of Health & Social Care Tutor I am relatively new to ACT Education and can say first-hand how much commitment to quality, and to teaching and learning has stood out for me. The work-based competency of Tutors is excellent and their passion to develop and improve learners’ knowledge, skills and behaviours is exemplary. It is great to see and hear about learners who have progressed from one qualification to another and gained promotions within their employment because of this approach. It’s great to be part of this team and organisation. Emma Wood / Health & Social Care Tutor

“While delivering the content creator standard, I’ve seen students of all age groups with differing levels of knowledge enrolled with us. This means that I have structured the course across a beginner, intermediate and advanced delivery platform. Learners can take part in group activities or individual one-to-one sessions, but regardless of the delivery method, their progress is not affected. I had never really done tutoring full-time before ACT Education and was very warmly welcomed. Since I started I’ve done nothing but improve and grow as a tutor. ” - Anthony Sharpe / Content Creation Tutor

Being a tutor with ACT helped me develop my skills. I tutored and trained a diverse group of individuals and I loved being able to work and support people closely! ACT was very accommodating and flexible, working with a work-life balance which allowed me to be in the best mindset. Being the best version of myself enabled me to provide the best support and guidance I could to my students. Lauren Younger / Ex-Health & Social Care Tutor
